But over time, the brand also grew into a second world: colors, finishes, interiors, and the emotional language of home. One brand, two decision systems. Our work focused on turning that paradox into a strategy—clear, scalable, and built for the next decade.
The client
Matox is a Serbian, family-led manufacturer and distributor operating across two distinct markets: professional construction systems (materials, performance, reliability) and decorative finishes (color, mood, aesthetics). With deep operational resources and strong legacy trust, Matox had the foundation to evolve into a modern, category-leading brand—if its story and communication system could match its real strength.
The need
Matox could not grow further with a single, generic message. The CORE audience (architects, engineers, contractors, investors) buys through specifications, systems, and proof. The DECOR audience (homeowners, designers, DIY) buys through inspiration, tone, and visual confidence. Trying to speak to both with one voice was diluting impact on both sides—especially online, where clarity and specialization decide visibility.
The solution
We created a master transformation strategy built on one organizing idea:Trust in Every Layer—and a clear two-vertical communication architecture:
Matox CORE: a professional ecosystem designed for specification, education, and long-term B2B loyalty through technical content, case studies, LinkedIn authority, and a structured engineering newsletter.
Matox DECORE(Color): an aesthetic ecosystem designed for inspiration-led growth through palettes, seasonal collections, makeover formats, and premium visual language across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
To support implementation, the strategy defines the funnel logic for both markets, a content and channel system, sales enablement materials, event platforms (from professional workshops to “Color Weekend”), employee training alignment, and a CRM backbone—turning Matox into a brand that can scale credibility and inspiration in parallel.
